Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal Ahmed Jaseem Mohammed Al-Hamer exchanged greeting with finance minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat. During the meeting, they discussed on the damaged made by recent earthquakes and the reconstruction process.

In the meeting, Finance minister Dr. Mahat sought Qatar's support in donor's meet which the country is going to organize on June 25 to seek assistance for reconstruction in the wake of devastating earthquake of April 25.

Finance minster Dr. Mahat said that Nepal has suffered a huge loss and it needs international support for reconstruction. Finance minister Dr.Mahat hopes that Qatar will participate in the meet and provide support. Ambassador of Qatar Hamer assured that his country will provide support to Nepal. According to Ministry of Finance, Minister Dr. Mahat thanked Qatar government for its continuous support to Nepal at the time of crisis.
