Issuing a statement through the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday, the chief justice has indirectly accepted the proposal put forth by the political parties to lead an election government.
"The honourable chief justice has a positive view about taking the leadership of cabinet for broader national interests of ending the political and constitutional deadlock although it is not his personal desire," read a statement issued by assistant spokesperson at the SC, Hemanta Rawal.
