Indian Embassy and B.P. Koirala-India Nepal Foundation organized 19th edition of  Poemandu.  Eminent poets Manju Kanchuli and Dr Ram Dayal Rakesh chaired this edition of Poemandu. After the recitations of poems by Kanchuli and Dr Rakesh, eleven other promising poets of Nepal recited their poems.

Poets who participated in this edition of Poemandu were Smita Shrestha, Uday Chandra Das, Mukunda Acharya, Dabbu Chhetri, Arjun Annyol, Richa, Madnesh Karna, Sunita Nakarmi, Rashi Rimal and Urmila Pant Pandey. Variety of poems in languages such as Nepali, Hindi, English, Bhojpuri and Newari were recited at the event. Some poets also presented haikus at the event.

Secretary of B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation and Head of Press, Information and Communication wing of Indian Embassy, Abhay Kumar also recited a poem in Nepali on the occasion and felicitated the participating poets.
