Every year, the U.S. Diversity Immigrant Visa Program makes available up to 55,000 immigrant visas worldwide.  On May 1, 2013 (starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time) Diversity Visa 2014 entrants (those who entered the Program between October 2 and November 3, 2012) can check the status of their entrance online at www.dvlottery.state.gov.  Diversity Visa 2014 (DV-2014) entrants should keep their confirmation number until September 30, 2014 even if not selected on May 1, 2013.  Additional entries may be selected in October 2013. This website is the only way to determine if entrants have been selected for the DV-2014 Program.  No notification is sent to selectees by email or regular mail.
