Election Commission and European Union signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the deployment of EU observers for the 2^nd Constituent Assembly elections slated for 19 November, 2013. The MoU was signed on 15 September at the office of the Election Commissioner.

The agreement was signed by ambassador of European Union Delegation to Nepal Dr. Alexdander Spachis and secretary at the Election Commission Narendra Dahal. According to agreement, European Union Election Observation Mission shall observe the elections abiding EC’s code of conduct for international observer.
