NIC ASIA Bank Launches Home Banking Service – Account Opening

NIC ASIA Bank is pleased to announce the launch of “Home Banking” a first of its kind in the Nepalese banking industry. Under this innovative service customers will now be able to open accounts sitting at home. All that is required is an SMS text message “ACC” to 4488 and a Bank officer will reach the customer’s home and open the account with the help of a tablet. Once the account is opened the customer will get a confirmation by SMS as well as by email.

With this new Home Banking facility, we will cater to those customers who want easy access of banking facilities and services without the need to visit the Bank for account opening. The service is a first of its kind in Nepal and provides a unique facility to make our existing products more accessible to customers.

“Initially this service will be available in Kathmandu Valley only and gradually expand to our branches.”

NIC ASIA Bank now has 54 branches and 50 ATMs with 14 additional branches being added within the next couple of months resulting in the largest network of branches among the private sector banks.
