Hyatt Regency Kathmandu has provided clothes and stationery goods to Buddhist Child Home -- an orphanage located in Dakshin Dhoka. The support is a part of Hyatt Thrive initiative. Hyatt Regency has been associated with Buddhist Child Home since 2002.

"The hotel has been engaging in various activities to support children at home and others; requesting vendors to show their support with donations of daily essentials like rice and water, and organizing periodic summer activities,” a hotel statement said. Hyatt had provided US $10,000 to the orphanage in 2010, by applying for the grant initiated under the Hyatt Community Grant program, according to the statement.
