Nepal government will promote 16 joint secretary to the position of secretary shortly. According to Naya Patrika daily, the promotion committee chaired by chairperson of Public Service Commission Kayu Devi Yemi has already shortlisted the name of joint secretary.

Out of vacant secretaries, 16 percent will be promoted on the basis of seniority and 20 percent remaining will be promoted on the basis of  working performance.
