Newly split CPN-Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand aka Biplab is considering to go for underground. According to Biplab, general secretary of the party, his party will decide the issue shortly after the consultation with his comrades.

The party’s forthcoming general council meeting will decide whether to remain open or go for underground. Last month, Biplab deserted CPN-Maoist led by Mohan Vaidya accusing that Vaidya and his group gave up revolutionary geal of the party.

Newly formed CPN-Maoist is holding its general convention in some unknown places in Dang district.
