Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has paid tributes to late BL Sharma, historical figure, freedom fighter and the renowned businessman on Tuesday.
Sharma died on Sunday at the age of 91 while undergoing treatment at Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital.
The mortal remains of Sharma have been kept at Baneshwor-based Anmol Catering today for paying final tributes.
Former Prime Ministers Surya Bahadur Thapa, Jhalanath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Sher Bahadur Deuba, Nepali Congress Vice-President Ram Chandra Poudel, Deputy Prime Minister Bamdev Gautam, Minister for Information and Communications Dr Minendra Rijal, Minister for Law and Justice Narahari Acharya, industrialists, social workers, among others, were also present there to pay last tributes to late Sharma.
The last rites of Sharma would be performed today itself, said Sharma´s business partner Shiva Sarawagi. Sharma is survived by a wife and three daughters.
