In order to help introduce and promote Japanese people, culture, society, and way of life to the people of Nepal, Japanese Embassy, in cooperation with the Japanese Language Teachers’ Association Nepal (JALTAN), is organizing a two-day Japanese Film Festival in Pokhara on January 30th and 31st, 2015.

According to a press release issued by Japanese Embassy, entrance to the movie shows is free for all on a first-come-first-served basis.  The films will be screened with English subtitles and the screening schedule of the film festival is as follows:-

The Venue of the festival will be Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Gaira Patan.

It is hoped that the film festival will contribute to the understanding of Japanese culture by Nepalese people, and in turn lead to the continued development of our friendly relations.
