Prominent Industrialist and founder of Nepal Chamber Commerce and  Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Indra Bhakta Shrestha has died. A legendary figure in Nepal’s industrial sector, Shrestha  also headed FNCCI and NCI.

Father of former president of FNCCI Rabi Bhakta Shrestha, late Shrestha made an enormous contribution in industrialization of Nepal. Unlike others, late Shrestha always maintained a low profile.

Late Shrestha’s contribution in Nepal’s industrial sector was immense. “ Late Shrestha was a pioneer industrialist of Nepal. His contribution to modernize Nepal’s industrial and trade sector was immense,” said Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce in a program organized to pay tribute to him.
