UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the process for talks could not move ahead as Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has not expressed any commitment of stopping the majority process even if he called the opposition alliance for talks twice.

Addressing a cadres´ training organized in Lalitpur Tuesday, Dahal stressed that the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have to show the activeness as shown by the Prime Minister for talks reports My Republica online.

He said they were ready for talks if the ruling parties express trust-worthy commitment to forward the constitution writing process through consensus by stopping the majority process.

Stating the agitation was their compulsion, Chairman Dahal expressed the view that the statement of the ruling parties of not implementing the previous agreements was not in favour of the country and people.
