It is likely that the Tribhvan International Airport (TIA) will not open before Sunday .According to an official at the Civil Avian Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the TIA will not resume its services until 6 pm today owing to the failure to tow away the Turkish Airlines airbus to the parking area.

The truck which was used to pull along the crash-landed airbus got its rear part lopsided while towing the aircraft.

The CAAN official said the technicians are working hard at it and if the things move on as expected, the Turkish airbus will be moved to the parking area and the TIA will start operating its services after 11 PM.
