With the recommendation of Constituent Assembly Chairman Subhash Chandra Nembang, President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has reappointed Manohar Prasad Bhattarai as a Secretary General of Constituent Assembly Secretariat for the second five-year Tenure after Secretary General Bhattarai’s first tenure was completed .

Having spent his entire career in Parliament, General Secretary Bhattarai is a well-informed person on parliamentary affairs in Nepal. 

Speaker Subash Chandra Nembang administered the oath of office and secrecy to Secretary General of the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat, Manohar Prasad Bhattarai at Singh Durbar today.

Bhattarai was reappointed to the post upon the completion of his five-year term on Monday. President Dr Ram Baran appointed Bhattarai on the recommendation of the Speaker.

He was first appointed to the post on March 17, 2010.

The Chief Whips of different political parties, MPs and Secretariat employees were present on the occasion.
