The US government published DV Lottery 2016. According to US Embassy, on can check his/ her DV 2016 status at dvlottery.state.gov using the unique confirmation number you received when you registered.

You may receive an email from the U.S. government reminding you to check your status online through DV Entrant Status Check, but you will *never* receive a notification letter or email informing you that you have been selected for the DV lottery.

According to the press release of US Embassy, the only way to find out if one was selected to continue with DV processing is to check his/ her status online through the DV Entrant Status Check at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/.

If one cannot find his/her unique confirmation number, one can retrieve it in Entrant Status Check at dvlottery.state.gov.
