Chinese ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai called on Prime Minister Sushil Koirala. During the meeting, Chinese Ambassador Chuntai briefed Prime Minister Koirala about ongoing Chinese support provided by Chinese experts and relief workers during the earthquake rescue and relief operation.

Ambassador Wu Chuntai also informed Prime Minister Koirala about the assistance provided by Chinese authorities to clear landslide in 48 kilometers of road and to resume transport.

According to a press release issued by Prime Minister Koirala’s Press Coordinator Prakash Koirala, Chinese ambassador Wu Chuntai also expressed willingness to provide further necessary support to earthquake victim of Nepal. Ambassador Wu said China is dispatching further relief materials to Nepal. Wu said China is ready to provide all kinds of necessary support to Nepal to fight natural calamities.

Prime minister Sushil Koirala hailed China’s support and thanked Chinese government for sending emergency rescue team and relief materials for the earthquake victims.
