Embassy of the Republic of Korea is organizing Korea week 2015 with various cultural programs from October 3-7. According to a press release issued by the Embassy, the program includes flying Kite Completion, 11 Korean Film Festival, the 3rd Korean Speech Contest and K-Pop Community in Nepal.
The program aims to promote Korean culture in Nepal and generate awareness among the people. The program also will help to share the Korean culture. The Kite Competition is expected to be a largest one with expected participation of over 500. The kite festival will be held in Nepal Army Headquarter on 3 October. The Flying Kite Competition will include Korean children kite completion and other completion.
According to the press release, the objective of Flying Kite Competition is to console Nepalese people who suffered from earthquake in April and strengthen people to people relations between Nepal and Korea.
