At a time when Nepal has been passing through a very critical time, Hotel Yak & Yeti won Global Winner Luxury Historical Hotel by The World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture Ananda Prasad Pokharel said that the award achieved by the hotel has significant importance for the country.  “I would like to congratulate the Hotel Management for achieving such a high level prestigious award for the country,” said Minister Pokharel.

Hotel Yak and Yeti, is a premier five-star deluxe oasis in the heart of Kathmandu , It’s the 100-year-old palace and newly designed structure of the hotel located at Durbar Marg.

Hotel General Manager Philip said that the achievement is the team work of all the hotel staffs. “ This award is a dedication and hard work of all the hotel staffs,” said General Manager Philip Bele.

A 120-room hotel with 5 star amenities started its operation in 01st September, 1977.
