Rabin Acharya Won Best Cinematographer In World Film Festival

Rabin Acharya won Best Cinematographer Feature for Dying Candle –Nivne Diyo at Queens World Film Festival. The movie was shot by Rabin Acharya and Indian cinematographer Dipankar Sikder.

According to Anuz Thapa, Nepalese films have a great showing at the Queens World Film Festival.

Bimina Ranjit received an honourable mention for her documentary Reviving Nepal Bhasa. According to U.S. Embassy Nepal Face Book site, three Nepalese Films were screened in the festival held between March 15-20 in Queens,  New York. The films include Kamaro (Slave) , a short movie directed by Arun Deo Joshi, Reviving Nepal Bhasa, a documentary directed by Sam Shakya  Dying Candle, a feature movie directed by Naresh Kumar KC.
