Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Rajendra Chhetri and visiting Joint Staff of Department, Central Military Commission and Deputy Chief, Admiral Sun Jianguo of People’s Army of People Republic of China held the bilateral meeting.

Admiral Sun Jianguo of Chinese People Army called on COAS General Chhetri at Nepal Army headquarters on Thursday. During the meeting, COAS General Chhetri and Chinese Admiral Sun Jianguo discussed the bilateral and issue of mutual interest.

Chinese admiral also met Lieutenant General Bal Dev Raj Mahat at Nepal Army headquarter. Nepalese army unit also gave a guard of honor to Chinese Admiral.

According to a press release issued by Nepal Army, this kind of high level visit strengthens the existing bilateral relations between the two armies.

Chinese admiral left today completing his four days visit to Nepal.
