Nepal Academy of Fine Arts and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy signed MoU on cooperation

Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) signed a MoU on cooperation in Kathmandu. The signing ceremony took place at the Bangladesh Embassy, Basundhara. Ragini Upadhyay, Chancellor, NAFA and Liaquat Ali Lucky, Director General, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

According to a press release issued by Embassy of Bangladesh, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams, Suresh Acharya, Officiating Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Tourism and Culture were present on the occasion as special guests.

With the signing of the MoU, the two premier institutions working in the fields of arts and culture in their respective countries, will undertake exchange of cultural artists and delegations, exchange exhibitions and exchange academicians and trainers with a view to enhancing knowledge and awareness of the varied and rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh and Nepal. This cultural exchange will greatly help to further strengthen and deepen the already existing excellent bilateral relations between the two close South Asian countries.
