Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong met president of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) at FNCCI central office. During the meeting, they discussed matter of bilateral interests.

According to a press release issued by FNCCI, senior vice president Bhavani Rana, vice president Dinesh Shrestha and Shekhar Golchha were also present. FNCCI President Murarka briefed ambassador the initiative taken by FNCCI to enhance the cooperation with Chinese investors and forthcoming meeting Nepal China non-governmental meeting.

President Murarka also requested Chinese ambassador to take initiative to increase Chinese investment in Nepal particularly in tourism sector. FNCCI president said that this is the right time to invest in Nepal’s industrial sectors.

Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong said that China continues to support Nepal in its efforts to achieve economic progress. She said that embassy take further initiative how to increase Chinese investment in Nepal.
