The Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri is scheduled to leave for the United States of America on a four-day official visit on Wednesday.
Nepal Army Chief Chhetri would be off to the US at the invitation of Commanding General of the US Army Pacific Regional Command Robert B Brown.
During the trip, Chhetri would be having separate meetings with General Brown and Major General Christopher Cavoli on Friday.
According to the NA Directorate of Public Relations, the Army Chief would attend various briefings and military arts and crafts event organised by US Army units.
CoAS Chhetri would also call on high-ranking army officials including chief of US Army’s Pacific Region Air Force and special mobilisation chief.
He is scheduled to return home on May 26.
