Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq arrived in Nepal for five day visit. COAS General Huq is paying visit to Nepal with the invitation of COAS General Rajendra Chhetri. Major General Purna Bahadur Silwal welcomed Bangladesh’s COAS Huq at Tribhuwan International Airport.

During his stay in Nepal COAS General Huq will call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, prime minister, Defense minister and COAS General Chhetri.

During his visit, he will inspect Western Area’s headquarter in Pokhara and other educational institution as well as tourist area. According to a press release issued by Nepal Army, these kinds of high level military visit strengthen and foster the bilateral relations existing between the two countries.
