Minister of Finance Gyanendra Bahadur Karki inaugurated the joint transaction of Global IME Bank and Reliable Development Bank after the acquisition of Reliable Development Bank by Global IME Bank.

Under the merger policy of Nepal Government and Nepal Rashtra Bank,ten different banks have already merged with Global IME. Established eleven years ago, Reliable Development National Bank used to have 17 branches in different parts of Nepal.

According to a press release issued by the bank, this is the first joint transaction following the merger. Established ten year ago with a slogan of bank for all, Global IME is now a largest commercial bank in Nepal.

Global IME has been providing banking service in India, Australia, Malaysia and other countries around the world to Nepalese.
