Nepal-Oman Agrees To Strengthen Relations

Nepali Ambassador to Oman Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal paid a courtesy call on Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr Bin Hamood Albusaidi.

Nepali Ambassador to Oman Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal paid a courtesy call on Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr Bin Hamood Albusaidi. During the meeting, ambassador Dhakal and secretary General discussed the matter of bilateral and mutual interest.

Ambassador Dhakal and Secretary General agreed to work to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries. Oman is one of the major destinations for Nepalese migrant workers.

As per the request of Nepalese ambassador, Oman’s Secretary General agreed to consider Nepal’s demand to have a mission in Nepal to issue for Nepalese migrant workers coming to Oman.

Ambassador Parajuli also paid a courtesy call to Chief of Police of Oman. Oman’s police chief also expressed his government willing to support human resources development in Nepal particularly to support the capacity building of Nepal Police and Armed Police.
