Nepal’s Ex-King Gyanendra Discharged From Hospital

Ex-King Gyanendra Shah, who was admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital on Wednesday after cardiac complication, got discharged Friday (July21).

Ex-King Gyanendra Shah, who was admitted at the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital on Wednesday after cardiac complication, got discharged Friday (July21).

The hospital discharged him after an improvement in his health.

Angioplasty was performed after his cardiac vein was found blocked while undergoing coronary angiogram.

Cardiologist Dr Yadav Dev Bhatta, involved in Shah’s treatment, informed Chairman Thapa that Shah’s health condition was improving after conducting the angioplasty.

Dr Shivaji Bikram Silwal, Dr Shekhar Rajbhandari, Dr Nagma Shrestha, Dr Santoshman Shrestha and Dr Kishor Jung Rana are in the team led by cardiologist Bhatta.
