Indian Security Forces Tighten Border With Nepal

With the decision of tightening the border by Indian security officials, the movement of the vehicles completely stalled in Sunauli Transit point. According to the media report, the situation reminded the last blockade.

As Indian security forces delayed the inspections, there is a long queue of vehicles carrying goods to Nepal and border sides. Detention of vehicles in the border will increase the price of household commodities. Following an incident of bomb plantation in UP’s State Assembly Lukhnow, Nepal’s border point suddenly tighten.

According to Nayapatrika, people crossing border are also facing hassles from Indian police. Residents of  border areas has already complained to Chief District Officer. Chief District Officer Binod Singh said that there will be ease in the border within a few days.

Following border standoff with China, Indian security forces tighten the border.
