Rashtriya Janta Party Nepal RJPN issued a seven day ultimatum to the government saying that it will not take part in the coming elections if the government does not fulfill its demands.
After concluding the meeting, RJPN leader Mahanta Thakur said that he will hand over his party’s decision to prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.” We cannot participate in the elections without fulfilling our demand including amendment of the constitution,” said Thakur.
Despite the differences of opinion in the party, RJPN leadership finally come out with a decision not to take part in the elections without amendment of constitution.
