Nepal Electricity Authority issued a public notice informing consumers that its transmission lines. substations and distribution systems incurred a heavy loss in eastern and central Nepal due to torrential rain of the last two days.
According to NEA, the damage will likely to disrupt the areas covered by it. Although NEA has already started the maintenance in damaged parts, it will likely to take few days to resume the supply.
The torrential rain damage 132 KV sub station in Dubi which is submerged in water, collapse of a tower of 132 KV Anarmani-Kaveli, problems incurred in 132 KV Khimti-Dhalekebar Transmission and collapsed of trees along the transmission line of Hetauda-Chpur- Dhalkebar. According to NEA, there will no power in the areas covered by these systems.
“NEA is working its best to resume the supply as soon as possible.in above areas,” said a Press release.
