Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang To Arrive On 14 August

Wang Yang, Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China is paying an official visit to Nepal at the invitation of the Government of Nepal.

 Wang Yang, Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China is paying an official visit to Nepal at the invitation of the Government of Nepal. He is arriving in Kathmandu tomorrow evening leading an official delegation.

During the visit, Vice-Premier Yang is scheduled to hold delegation-level bilateral talks with Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development on 15 August 2017.

According to a press release issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he will call on Bidya Devi Bhandari, President, and Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister of Nepal on 16 August 2017. He will also meet with senior political leaders.

The Vice-Premier is also scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the nine-storied Basantapur Durbar Restoration Project under the Chinese assistance on 15 August 2017.  Vice Premier Yang will visit the National Ayurveda Research and Training Center in Kirtipur on 16 August 2017. The Vice-Premier will return Beijing on 17 August 2017.
