NEA’s MD Ghising Proves It Again Supplying the Energy Required to Celebrate Laxmi Puja

Managing Director of NEA Kul Man Ghising has proved again that nothing is impossible. If there is a will, there is a way. This is what MD Ghishing repeated this year again not making any power cut in the day of Deepawali or Laxmipuja.

Along with his senior colleagues and other staffs, MD Ghishing spent almost five long hours in the load dispatch center to maintain the power supply in Nepal making the day load shedding free.

When consumers in Nepal are enjoying full lights, his NEA’s team worked in pressure watching and monitoring every moment closely. Prepared a month ago, MD Ghising’s plan worked well second year as well.

Celebrating the festival in dark for decades, there were joy and happiness among the common people to enjoy the festival in full light.tihar-pic.jpg

When MD Ghishing returned home spending almost seven hours at the load dispatch center with his staffs, he felt happy as Kathmandu valley was twinkling in the lights and bulb with next day full coverage of Laxmi Puja's night in online and magazine.

Secretary of Energy and chairman of Nepal Electricity Authority Anup Kumar Upadhyaya congratulated all NEA’s family member of the team involved in demand management of the energy on the picking day of Laxmi Puja.

Secretary Upadhyaya has a reason for rejoice to issue the statement as NEA’s team under the leadership of Managing Director Ghising had made Tihar festival load shedding free in a decade.

In his facebook status, secretary Upadhayaya congratulated for a success in managing team. Led by managing director of NEA Ghishing, NEA’s team maintained the smooth supply of electricity repeating their success of last year in demand and supply management.

On the day of Laxmi Puja on October 19, there were pick demands of electricity of 1500 MW. According to NEA’s load dispatch center, the load managed through IPP’s supplied 352 MW, NEA hydro 432 MW, Import 355 MW, Tripping 20 MW and 15 MW and 300 MW industries.
