Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that the series of bomb blasts carried out targeting the left alliance candidates had the intention of thwarting the democratic process.
Speaking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport, the former Prime Minister urged the government to provide candidates and voters at large with security in order to make the elections run in peaceful manner.
He alleged that the government was still working to postpone the elections and was thereby silent over the bomb attacks.
UML Chair Oli said that the incumbent government was only a ‘care taker’ and therefore, should function as per the principle.
