The Election Commission has mobilized Nepal Army’s helicopter to transport ballot boxes from remote booth to district headquarters. According to the Commission, they arranged three-tiers of security for the ballot boxes sealed with the mandate of the voters.
Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army have been deployed to provide the security to the ballot boxes which were collected from across the district and have been kept in the building of District Agriculture Development Office.
All the distract administrations have declared a prohibited area to the surroundings of the building. There was voter turn over of 65%.
The vote count will begin following the completion of second phase of election on December 7.
