Nepalese Ambassador to United Kingdom and permanent Representative of Nepal to International Maritime Organization (IMO) Durga Bahadur Subedi addressed the 30th Assembly of IMO.
Ambassador Subedi said that right of landlocked countries to have free access to sea need to be protected. “As a landlocked country, Nepal has been in the forefront to raise the right of landlocked country to free access to sea,” said Subedi.
He said that the present need is to implement the commitments made in the past to guarantee the rights of landlocked country.
