Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav said over 67 per cent votes have been cast across the country in the provincial and parliamentary elections held in two phases. It is reportedly high turn out.

 Addressing a press meet in the Election Commission organised to thank the voters and to announce the success of the elections, Yadav said that the voting process went smoothly except for minor disruptions. “Voters exercised their franchise enthusiastically,” he said.
