CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has asserted that the unification between leftist parties will strive for economic prosperity, good governance and development of the nation.

Former Prime Minister Dahal also said, “Programmees have been formulated with an objective of making Nepal a developed nation. As per people’s mandate, the nation would move ahead for economic prosperity and good governance,” after laying a foundation stone of the road at Judibelawa in Chandrapur Municipality-2 in the district, on Thursday.

According to The Himalayan Times, the 4 km long road stretch, with sewer and black topped, will be built by the Department of Urban Development and Building Constriction with an estimated cost of Rs 840 million rupees.

Dahal further said that he would urge the government to establish economic zone in Rautahat district for the development of province 2. “Likewise, a service centre would also be established in the region to extend government services to people.”

“After establishing republic and institutionalising federalism, the main agendas of the government are good governance, political stability and development in the nation,” Dahal clarified.

He also assured party cadres that the unification will happen on the basis of equality in a respectable and justifiable manner.
