Chief of Army Staff General Rajendra Chhetri has inaugurated Disaster Management Training Center in Gokarna amid a function. Apart from war training, Nepal Army has been actively supporting civilian authority in rescue and rehabilitation during the disasters, protection of National Park, Development Activities and Chure Protection work.

According to a press release issued by Nepal Army, this training center will launch special training for disaster management.
