Australian ambassador to Nepal Glen White met with Pradeep Jung Pandey, president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). According to a press release of FNCCI,  Pandey stressed the need to develop strong economic ties between Nepal and Australia.

Ambassador Glen assured the FNCCI president that he would play an effective role to increase export of Nepali goods to the Australian market. "Nepal and Australia have long standing friendship in diplomatic and political front. I want to expand the relation in economic front as well," the statement quoted Ambassador Glen as saying in the meeting.
