SAWTEE organized a half-day policy dialogue on Ensuring Seed Security in Nepal. Attended by various stake holders including CA members, government officials, experts, private sector and non-governmental organization, various papers were presented related to state of seed security in Nepal.

Chaired by president of SAWTEE Dr. Posh Raj Pandey, CA members Keshab Badal and Gagan Thapa addressed the opening session. As Nepalese farmers have been facing the problems related to the availability of quality seeds, the interaction helped to highlight various issues involved on it. Officials from Ministry of Agricultural Development presented the paper showing the state of seeds in Nepal.
