Belgium Nepal Friendship Association Formed

A Meeting of friends held in Brussels has decided to revive and reconstitute the Belgium-Nepal Friendship Association (BNFA).

A Meeting of friends held in Brussels has decided to revive and reconstitute the Belgium-Nepal Friendship Association (BNFA). The meeting has chosen Dr. Luc Beaucourt as chair of the association and others elected were Hidle Borms, Rabindara Shrestha, Roger De Groen, and Danny Verhasselt as vice presidents Treasurer and secretary respectively. Viktor De Haes, Ropnny De Roeck and Joan Schots have elected as the Executive members.

BNFA is an organizations established in 1973 with the help and initiative of the Belgian nationals who loved Nepal and wanted to support for socio-economic development of Nepal.

Lok Bahadur Thapa, Ambassador to Nepal to the BENELUX countries and Head of mission to the European Union expressed his happenings over the revival of association.

The association has helped to promote Nepal and Nepalese people in Belgium. Ambassador Thapa appreciated the immense good will towards Nepal by Belgium nationals.
