Completely devastated by the earthquake in 2015, Patan Durbar Square has reconstructed almost all major temples in four years reviving its past glory. In its effort, Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust (KVPT) has just completed reconstruction of Char Narayan Temple through major funding from U.S. Embassy. With funds from U.S. Embassy, Germany, Japan and other countries, KVPT, which has been working in close coordination and collaboration with Department of Archeology and backing of local community and local institutions like chamber and Metropolitan City, has shown a way how to effectively and quickly rebuild the heritage sites under a dynamic leadership of country director Rohit Ranjitkar
