With the decision of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Nepal to join the incumbent government to guarantee upcoming elections of House of Representatives and State Assemblies, prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is now reportedly negotiating with Madheshi Parties.

As the negotiations are reportedly final stage, prime minister Deuba will likely to reshuffle his cabinet within few days sacking all ministers representing his cabinet. It is reported that Kamal Thapa will be given deputy prime minister and Home Minister and Madheshi Parties will be accommodated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

An emergency meeting of central work execution committee of the party held today has decided to join the incumbent government after most of the leaders suggested for the same to create a favorable environment of the election.

The party Chairman Kamal Thapa informed the meeting about the proposal to the Nepali Congress to participate in the government and the alliance.

The meeting also decided to participate in upcoming elections after joining the Broader Democratic Alliance

Similarly, the General Secretary of Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Ram Sahaya Yadav said the party would forge an electoral alliance with the Rashtriya Janta Party-Nepal and Nepali Congress for upcoming polls to address the feelings of Madhesi people.

He indicated the possibility of joining the incumbent government. He clarified this alliance for the upcoming polls only not for the party merger with other like-minded parties at an interaction program.

However, CPN-Maoist and CPN-UML warned prime minister Deuba not take any decision which will affect the elections. “ Prime minister should not take any decision to destroy the conducive environment for the elections,” said K.P Sharma Oli.
