Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene Dearer By Rs 2/Liter

The Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per litre effective from midnight.

According to The Himalaya Times, as per the revised rates, petrol will cost Rs 105 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 85 per liter each. The prices of cooking gas and aviation turbine fuel remain unchanged.

NOC spokesperson Birendra Goit said “After the new adjustments, NOC will still incur a loss of Rs 400 million per month.”

The state owned petroleum product distributor decided to increase fuel prices in line with the revised rates sent by IOC on Sunday.
