Prime Minister Sushil Koirala said drafting a democratic constitution is his only goal. Prime Minister Koirala has said that he was hurt by the failure of political parties represented in the Constituent Assembly (CA) to promulgate the new constitution within January 22, as promised before the people.

In his address to the nation this evening, the PM expressed his sadness over the failure of CA to deliver the constitution on the announced date. His address from the National Planning Commission meeting hall has just concluded.
