Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal has announced that it would stay away from the Proposal Drafting Committee's meeting today.
The pro-Hindu party, which advocates for the reinstatement of Hindu Kingdom, said that it was boycotting the PDC meeting as the CA committee's sub-committee, formed to sketch out the PDC's working procedure, has proposed to prepare questionnaires on crucial issues of new constitution on a par with the Interim Constitution.

According to the party's chief whip Dilanath Giri, who was incorporated in the sub-committee as a member, as RPP-Nepal's differing view was not included in the proposal there as no meaning of taking party in the PDC meeting.
The PDC had prepared a seven-member committee, headed by Ramesh Lekhak, to prepare its working procedure.
