NA cargo airplane crashes at Kolti airport in Bajura

Nepal Army’s cargo aircraft has crashed at Bajura-based Kolti airport while its pilot was trying to land it.

Nepal Army’s cargo aircraft has crashed at Bajura-based Kolti airport while its pilot was trying to land it.

The crash took place at 12.05 pm.

The cargo airplane was supposed to land on the Simikot airport in Humla district. However, bad weather condition forced the pilot to fly towards Bajura as a last resort to avoid possible crash.

The ill-fated cargo airplane failed to prevent itself from getting crashed despite extreme caution.

The airplane caught fire after the crash The pilot of the cargo airplane sustained severe injuries. His condition is critical.
