Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba felicitated President of Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) Shesh Ghale, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising, Mayor of Parshuram Municipality Bhim Bahadur Saud and President of International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations (IFAWPCA) Datuk Matthew Tee.

Felicitating at inaugural of the 19th annual general meeting of Federation of Contractors Association of Nepal (FCAN), Prime Minister Deuba assured to make investment-friendly environment in the country.

He said the government wants to move ahead by coordinating with the private sector for this.

He also vowed to make timely reforms in the Public Procurement Act and Regulations and urged the contractors to complete the quality construction works in time.

Also the Minister for Law Yagya Bahadur Thapa, Minister for Irrigation Sanjya Kumar Gautam, Minister for Commerce Min Bishwakarma and others expressed their opinion for timely completion of the infrastructure works.
