The recently completed Inception workshop is extremely pertinent to understanding the state of water and potential future paths because South Asian nations like Nepal, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are currently facing a very challenging time in providing enough water for the needs of their expanding populations. The Built Water Storage in South Asia (BWSSA) project, run in collaboration between the International Water Management Institute and the Global Water Partnership (GWP), seeks to make a lasting improvement in how water storage is viewed, organized, and maintained.
